The South Otago A&P 154th Show will feature all the traditional Livestock (Cattle, Sheep, Alpaca, Dairy Goats & Pets), Equestrian & Home Industry Classes, 52nd Show Queen Contest, Trade Stands & Family Entertainment on Saturday, 28th November at the Balclutha Showgrounds on Glasgow Street.

* Levi Goodall (extreme Cycle Rider) will have 3 Shows & chat with families about his stunts
* Santa Grotto
* Mike Hurring Logging & Contracting Wood Chopping
* Shearing demo's & Wool display in Ram Pavilion
* The Travelling Hoffman Exhibition; Patchwork Quilts
* Agrikids with Clinton YFC
* Alice Muir - Artist/Decorator will be Face Painting in the Cross Recreation Centre
* South Otago A&P Show Queens Speeches 12.30
* Coal Shoveling Competition returns
* Kapa Haka from Clutha Valley Primary School
* Clutha Dance will be performing
* Ravensdown Supreme Animal of the Show at 2.15pm in front of Secretary Office in the Main Ring
* Grand Parade in the Main Ring at 2.30pm

Gate Entry: Adults/$10 Children/$5
Family Membership $25 (Prepaid)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
