Rangiora residents riled about being left in dark over quarry plan
They thought they were buying homes next to a racecourse. Now it could become a quarry with 250 truck movements a day.
Neighbours of the proposed quarry at Rangiora Racecourse are mounting their opposition, with more than 40 people attending a meeting on Monday to discuss the impact of dust on their neighbourhood. Further meetings are planned to discuss noise and submission-writing.
