Little free library Bench Seat STOLEN
What a huge shame!.
Someone took our Free Library park bench from outside our house!!
It was donated to the free library in Morningside to give people somewhere to sit and read, or for older people to rest. We only had it there for a week. This is such a sad action...We have been trying to give out to help people and to have stolen the bench is just a slap in the face. Come on Whangarei! Aren't we better than this?!!!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
