Do you want to learn how to make Eco Paper Products and Books? Come along to Papanui High School and join our 1 day workshop on Saturday 31 October between 10 am - 4.30 pm at a cost of $115. This course taught by Sandy Corbett will focus on using paper, card, thread, old discarded books, magazines and any other paper based products you can find to make into useful and interesting treasures and gifts. Greeting customers costs nothing
I went to New World Bishopdale this am. Deli dept. the young person just looked at me at the counter, no acknowledgement at all. I asked what I wanted and couldn’t resisting saying, how’s your day going? Staff need training like at Mitre 10. Acknowledge the customer!! Hello, what can I help you with today and smile? Not a lot to ask but younger people seem to lack basic greeting manners. Have you found this? Maybe I’m just expecting too much!!

Hey I'm in Christchurch and I was wondering if anyone knows of any places apart from SPCA that handle cats and/or dogs that are looking for volunteers as I need to do 40hrs with cats and cats before September I also need to handle other small animals before June 23rd to pass module 3 any help greatly appreciated
