West Auckland Survey - How has Covid 19 affected us?
The Laingholm and District Citizens Association (LDCA) working with the other residents’ groups in the Waitakere Ranges and supported by Community Waitakere, have developed an online survey to find out what you experienced during the Covid19 lockdowns and how we can use this to learn what our communities need in future.
(The survey is confidential - you do not need to reveal your identity, and it cannot be established from your responses.)
If you live in west Auckland please fill in the survey (it takes about 5 mins) and share with your local friends, neighbours and networks. The more people that do it the more we will learn. Thanks!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
