My Resene Upcycling Award entry

Lori from Rukuhia

I found this old chair with lots of potential sitting in an op shop in Te Aroha. It was great fun to transform. I added calcium chalk to both colours used. Underneath is the Double Canterbury Clay colour that is on the wall in the bedroom. On top...I can't remember the name of the colour, but I'm sure you can figure it out! There is a final topcoat of something a Resene employee recommended I use. We could go back in our Resene Colourcard records to find out what it was, but some kind of Resene clear coat to protect the paint, and it also had a bit of brown colour to give an aged look. Sorry...I can't remember that, either...but you can figure it out. I love the chair so much and have no regrets on this project.
