Support the Conservation of Bumblebees
Geoff Brunsden is the co-founder of the NZ Bumblebee Conservation Trust and has applied for a community grant through Cannon NZ. The great news is that the Trust has been chosen as one of three Community Group finalists. To win we need to get as many votes as possible to enable to Trust to send out 10 Bumblebee Hives to schools throughout the country. The children can then study the bumblebees and learn to understand the importance of their roll in pollination of food crops and their place in our ecosystem. The schools will also receive a Cannon camera to take photos of bumblebees that will then be loaded onto the Bumblebee Trust website www.nzbct.org.nz... for everyone to see.
