Bearded Irises potted. $10 per pot.
These irises have wintered over outside in their pots so are acclimatised to Wairarapa conditions.
The plants in the ground are just beginning to move after their winter rest , so bare rooted rhizomes are not an option this month, but these potted ones could be slipped gently into a well drained sunny position in your garden and they won't know they've been moved.
The potted plants not in flower are the actual pots you would be buying..
$10.00 per pot.
All the irises are tall ones apart from one dwarf one , the one labelled Making Eyes. It’s the second to last one in the photos.
The pots are labelled and should be in the same order as the photos.
Pickup is in Kuripuni
Thanks for looking.
PS I had to delete some of the pics of potted plants as the size of all the photos was too big.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

Roller
Has anybody got a concrete or water filled hand roller that they don't need anymore. I'm putting down a new lawn and need it to compact the dirt down.
