Physiotherapy Services @ Level 3

Linda from The Sandringham Physio Room

At level 3 the vast majority of physiotherapy sessions must still be undertaken via Telehealth.
If you require urgent care that cannot be managed by current primary care providers i.e. A&E/GP or via Telehealth we may be able to see you in person in a limited capacity. However the best thing still to do is to book an appointment online or contact us directly and we can help plan and assist the safest pathway to best help you recover.

Remember there is still much that can be achieved via Telehealth:

1. Assess and manage both new and ongoing injuries/pain
2. Lodge ACC claims for new injuries. Those with a current ACC
claims are still covered.
3. Provide appropriate and individualised education so you better
understand your injury/pain to fast track your recovery
4. Provide you with an evidence based exercise programme. We
can work through this with you via video to ensure you are
able to do your exercises correctly and achieving the expected
outcome.
5. Teach you self-management strategies, such as trigger point
release, massage and self mobilisation techniques to get you
moving more freely with less pain
6. We have a strong referral network and can work closely with
your GP, Sports Physician or Specialist or other providers.
7. If you need an x-ray or ultrasound or a referral for assessment
for more high tech scanning such as MRI we are able to sort
out the paper work for you and help get you seen.
