The team at Volunteer Marlborough are now working from home. We will be providing ongoing updates to our member organisations in the Marlborough region, as well as to all the wonderful Marlborough volunteers, through our various social media channels and our website. We will do our very best to keep you up to date and informed over the coming weeks not only about how to keep yourself and your teams safe at this time, but also how people can still be of help going forward.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
