Hi everyone. Hope everyone & your lockdown plans/preparations are going well. I was just thinking that with more people home, eating, drinking, etc more that it would be a timely reminder to continue to watch our water usage. We need our dam levels to increase and our tanks to fill up. Even though summer is a fair way off, we need to be mindful of the possiblity of another dry summer & be well prepared in advance. Take care all and good luck with your lockdown 'to do' lists.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
