Can you help this Saturday? Beach Netball

Have you got some spare time to help with a fun event this Saturday?
Marlborough Netball is running a beach netball event on the 15th of Feb 2020 at Whites Bay

Set up will start at 8:30am on the beach. Volunteers can help with time-keeping, scoring, raking the sand, remove rocks/wood, setting up courts, setting up gazebo and sound system, setting up tables and chairs, packing down at the end, and prize-giving.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
