Safety concerns behind proposal for more parking at busy North Canterbury retail complex
A lack of adequate parking at North Canterbury's Mandeville Village retail complex could soon be fixed.
The first option is to occupy the adjacent reserve northwest of the shopping complex, with an entrance and exit off Mandeville Rd.
The second option is to establish parking further away, on the reserve across McHughs Rd. The same Reserves Act change would apply and it would provide 34 spaces.
The third option is to work with developers to create a car park on private land.
You can find out more about the proposals by reading the full story here and submit your feedback to the council here.

Chickenwire needed
Hi. I need about 8 sq metres of chicken wire. If you have some lying around that you don't need, I'm happy to take it off your hands, deliver a boot full of recyclables to the tip or pay a bit for it. Please let me know. Thanks.
