Free joint regional bus service announced for tertiary students
We're excited to launch a free Bay of Plenty regional bus service for tertiary students in 2020! š
The service will mean students in Katikati, Rotorua and WhakatÄne will be able to travel to and from Tauranga for classes. With these buses, students from around the Bay will be able to get to their classes, without the added stress of finding and paying for transport.
The service is a joint venture with Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and the Bay of Plenty Regional Council.

Say goodbye to tyre waste
About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.
The good news is now thereās an easy solution to all that tyre waste. Itās called Tyrewise and is New Zealandās first national tyre recycling scheme.
Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.
