CDC council meeting today
I caught up with Marty Sebire and Robyn Cherry-Campbell at the Ordinary Council meeting today. It's really interesting hearing the questions and comments coming from Councillors. They really are doing a good job.
Highlights today were progress on the Five Towns Trail and discussion around Council's response to the "Action for Healthy Waterways" discussion document.
The public part of the meeting ended with valedictory speeches from Councillor Mike Ashby and Mayor John. Well done both of you and thanks for giving up your time to commit to Carterton.
Poll: Does the building consent process need to change?
We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.
