Speed dating this Saturday Night at Catnap Cafe

Bronwyn Reader from Cat Rescue Christchurch

We are still looking for SINGLE MEN to come along to the speed dating event this Saturday night. We have a full contingent of keen lovely ladies.

Details are as below so jump on board for some fun. You don't have to love cats, you just have to love animals. Catnap is just the venue, and yes $10 of your entry fee goes to help Cat Rescue but hey it is sharing the love around and that is important also.

DID YOU KNOW: Men who like cats are awesome. Fact* 👱‍♂️🐈

Even better, we have 24 ladies who are keen to meet some awesome men at our Speed Dating event this coming Saturday! 😮 If you are, or know of, a cool dude who isn’t afraid to try something a bit different (and potentially meet someone special 🥰) jump over to our website to book a spot! - catnapcafe.co.nz/speed-dating

We still need men for all three age brackets in order for this event to go ahead: 20-30, 30-40 and 40-50. This is a great chance to meet new people, hang out with some super adorable cats and help raise much needed funds for Cat Rescue Christchurch - this event will raise at least $500 for them and with kitten season upon us they need all the help they can get! 💰

We need your help to make this happen so please spread the word by sharing: tag your mates, tag your mates‘ mates, make a sign that says ‘Toot for Catnap Speed Dating’ and stand on the corner, everything helps! 🚗

*We asked Henry and he said so. He’s got a Degree in Cat/Human Relationships from Harvard so he knows what he’s talking about. If you’re still not convinced see below for photographic evidence from the Catnap archives 📷

Go and register vi the link on the Catnap Cafe Event page on facebook.

Special thanks to Share My Pet for helping out with this event 😊

Poll: Are Kiwis bad drivers?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Each country has its own idiosyncrasies when it comes to driving and New Zealand is no different.
With daily near-misses, people incorrectly indicating at roundabouts and a lack of stopping at stop signs, it begs the question: Are Kiwis actually not that good at driving?

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the Conversations column of your local paper.
