New marine gateway for Coromandel - Will it rejuvenate the township?
Hi neighbours - Coromandel Marine Gateway plans to transform an estuary at the township and build a $40 million marina with a ferry service to Auckland, 16 marine-side apartments, and berths for charter vessels.
Conservation organisation Forest and Bird oppose the application, believing the project to be "environmentally damaging".
