April in Paris call for actors
April in Paris
by John Godber
Director Margaret Jesson
Limelight Theatre is seeking interest from 1 male and 1 female actor, aged 40 to 60 years to play in this hilarious comedy about a Yorkshire couple Bet and Al who win a Romantic Break to Paris. This is their first time abroad as they hilariously tackle their phrasebook, fend off muggers and “enjoy” french cuisine. But it all has a profound affect on how they view the world when they return home.
If you are interested in telling their story under direction of Margaret Jesson please be in touch with her by phoning 06 379 85 39, or Text 0275 999 609 as soon as possible.
Please be aware the rehearsal schedule will be intense as there are only 8 weeks until showtime at the end of August.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
