Did you know the public was not told about a long-term solution for congestion at Onewa Rd?
Auckland Transport did not include a long-term option during public consultation about improvements to Birkenhead Avenue.
The current proposal would see the T3 lane end before Onewa Rd causing the traffic to merge before the intersection - the long-term solution would see the T3 lane take the corner.
