Te Kāuru - Flood Management Chats This Weekend
The Te Kāuru Upper Ruamāhanga Floodplain Management Subcommittee is seeking submissions on its proposed Floodplain Management Plan to manage flood and erosion risks in the Te Kāuru catchment. To find out more about the floodplain management plan, pop over to our stall to talk to one of the friendly members of the Project Team.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
