5 Top Tips to keep your drains flowing freely

Master Plumbers NZ - Taranaki

Blocked drains are inconvenient and unpleasant to deal with, but here are some things you can do to make them less likely to happen:
1. Scrape food scraps off plates into the bin (not down the sink)
2. Put fat, oil and grease into the bin too
3. Use drain strainers to catch food residue in the kitchen and hair/fibres/soap scum in the bathroom & laundry
4. Run just hot water in sinks and showers at least once a week to prevent a build-up of dirt and residues
5. Only flush The Three P's (pee, poo and paper) down your toilet

If your drain gets blocked, avoid using harsh chemicals as these can damage your plumbing system over time. Contact your local Master Plumber for a professional service: www.masterplumbers.org.nz...

Bowen Therapy at Holistic Health Taranaki

Annemarie from Holistic Health Taranaki

Bowen Therapy is a non-invasive and very gentle body therapy, focusing on fascia release. It does not force the body, stress the body or manipulate. It can be given though a thin layer of clothing.

Through the work on the fascia, it positively affects the nervous system, creating a cascade of positive change with other body systems as well.

If you have any of the below symptoms, or if you have tried 'everything' and have made no progress, try Bowen. It might be the right thing for you.

Say goodbye to tyre waste

Tyrewise

About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.

The good news is now there’s an easy solution to all that tyre waste. It’s called Tyrewise and is New Zealand’s first national tyre recycling scheme.

Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.

Find out more about the scheme online.
