Sam needs a home!
Hello neighbours, I'm posting this on behalf of a friend:
Sam is my 11-year old ginger tom cat. He has been with us since he was a kitten back in Hawke's Bay. He's moved with us 5 times and he has always settled in well. He is used to a quiet environment; it's just me and him most of the time. He is happiest when he's cared for gently, and once he trusts you, he is loving and affectionate.
I am looking for a home where Sam is going to be loved as much as we love him. My heart is sore that I have to leave him behind but I have to go to Europe semi-permanently for family reasons.
I am moving out on 10 March.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
