Plugging in to the rechargeable world
The Liion battery is changing the way we manage hearing aids. The new generation of rechargeable hearing aids means the days of having to remember to change the battery before we go out to that important meeting or dinner or having the hearing aid stop half way through the wedding are a thing of the past.
The new rechargeable systems have up to two days’ use in a single charge, a “battery pack” that gives you two extra charges if you happen to be away from home (and the charger) and the battery life is 3-5 years minimum.
Because of our independence at Audiology Associates we have access to all the current manufacturers of Liion technology and help you get the system that suits your needs as well as your budget
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Product recalls
I am appalled at the number of product recalls - salmon to snack balls to a huge range of toys. Not good enough manufacturers! Surely products are health and safety checked.
