CanTeen's Taranaki branch to close down by the end of the week
A cash-strapped national youth cancer charity has confirmed it is to axe a number of jobs as it undergoes a restructure to stay afloat.
Although CanTeen has yet to announce the number of positions being lost, or the regions affected, Stuff understands that Manawatū, Dunedin and Hawkes Bay branches are closing, while Taranaki will shut for good at the end of the week. Read more

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
