Local Con man re-appears
I wrote a small article previously regarding being ripped off by a funny (Most people refer to him as creepy) old character by the fake name of Gareth Evans (Real name is Gary Lee Wilfred Evans), has been mucking local people and local businesses around before skipping town for 3 or 4 weeks. He has now returned to Otorohanga somewhere between 64 and 68 Phillips Ave (Wrecks of cars in driveway). If you have met him, he probably would have spun a yarn about being the Famous Welsh Rugby star Gareth Evans. Message back if anyone needs any further information, such as media articles outlining his previous dishonesty and escapades etc.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
