First steps for Marlborough Mile
Stage one of the Blenheim Business Association’s ‘Marlborough Mile’ walking circuit has begun. The ‘Station to Town’ green-line wayfinding route provides a clear link for visitors from the Railway Station to the town centre.
This circuit is the first element of the ‘Marlborough Mile project’ which will form an interactive and playful mile-long walking loop throughout Blenheim’s town centre, celebrating Marlborough’s key industries, its heritage, culture and climate.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
