Poll: How do you feel about Kmart coming to Sylvia Park?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Hi neighbours, the rumours are true: Kmart is coming to Sylvia Park soon. The 5000 sq m store will take the space formerly occupied by Countdown at the southern end of Sylvia Park, and will open its doors in 2019.

This will be Kmart's seventh store in Auckland. The last one opened in the Super City more than a decade ago.

Kiwi Property retail head Linda Trainer, said Kmart complemented the 60 new speciality retailers and flagship department stores being delivered as part of the mall's Galleria project. Read more about the update here.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
