Traffic delays predicted as SH1 rebuilt through Oamaru
Motorists are being warned that traffic delays through Oamaru are inevitable as a one-kilometre stretch of State Highway 1 undergoes reconstruction.
The major rebuild of the northbound lanes between Ribble St and Orana Park, Oamaru, is expected last all of September the NZ Transport Agency has advised.
Road users, businesses and residents are being urged to plan for delays. Work will start Monday. Construction crews will be on site 6am-8pm Monday to Saturday. Read more here
