High Tea Celebrating 125 years of women having the right to vote in NZ
The High Tea will take place at Outram Hall in Murrays Bay on the North Shore on Sunday 9 September at 3.30pm and is part of the Suffrage 125 national event programme to celebrate inspiring and innovative women that have influenced our past, present and future. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and check out some amazing facts and figures. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
