free ply & or clean timber
The new Thames Menzshed needs materials for its first community project. We are making a child's adjustable woodwork bench for the Thames Child's Mental Health team. We need some clean untreated timber & plywood to make this adjustable wood work bench with a vice we have already. Any clean pine plywood & timber off-cuts 20mm thick would be great around 600 - 1200mm long as well as short pieces 5 -12mm thick for kids to make small wooden things, is another requirement on an on going basis for this very needy community service. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
