Morepork Attacked by Cat

Kristal from Bellevue

Found a tabby cat on Queen Road attacking a morepork this morning. The cat had broken the moreporks beak, injured its eye and wing. DOC have collected the morepork and it hopefully make a full recovery.
Please try keep an eye on your cats to prevent our native wildlife from being attacked!
