Would you like to learn how to create your very own masterpiece by sculpting in Oamaru Stone? Papanui High School is offering a Beginners Stone Carving Nightclass which will teach you the basic procedures with sculpting and design along with the use of tools. The class is being held at Papanui High School on a Tuesday night starting from 29 May 7-9 pm for 6 weeks at a cost of $138 (which includes the cost of your piece of stone).
