Hospice Awareness Week 14-20th May
Hospice Awareness Week is an opportunity for Lake Taupo Hospice to profile and celebrate the services that we provide to you – our community. Throughout next week there will be lots of opportunities for you to get to know what we have on offer, how we support and care for those in with life limiting illnesses and how we prepare, comfort and assist their families and friends during the journey. You will get the chance to meet some of our staff and volunteers, tour our facilities and hear about the impact of our work. Check out our website for full details of events or pick up a leaflet from one of our displays around town.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
