Wahoo!! It is planting season lets plant..
Come along to Gates Reserve, on the south side of the control gates along side the beautiful Waikato river and help make Taupo even greener.
Planting Starts at 10am!
Bring your gumboots, garden gloves and a spade, we do have some spades to share and there will be some holes dug. Bring suitable wet weather gear if required. Enjoy a fun morning out, there will be a sausage sizzle afterwards for all planters.
Predator Free Taupo will be there talking and selling traps.
There will be face painting and good coffee being sold by Coffee stop.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN PULLING INTO THE SITE AND LEAVING BY VEHICLE, IT IS A VERY BUSY ROAD. BE SAFE !!!

Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
