Aranui Handiscope
We are a lovely friendly community group that is being held every week in Aranui / Wainoni area. It is a craft group, a place where people attend to have companionship, learn new skills, helps them with their anxiety, confidence and to help build self asteem. We are wanting more funds to help with items needed to do all this. One of our big goals is making bedrolls for the homeless as well as making scarfs, hats and gloves. We don't get funds - we raise our own. The things we do, are making such an impact on those who attend our sessions each week, in which we are growing steady all the time. We started with 11 and now 35 members. It is so worth while to have our group that is making such an impact on those who attend for so many reasons. It is a group that now can't go without in the community. I appeciate you checking us out and seeing our need to help our group with activities and those in need in our community.
