LOUD SHIRT DAY is the annual appeal of The Hearing House and the Southern Cochlear Implant Paediatric Programme, two charities dedicated to enabling deaf children with cochlear implant or hearing aids to listen and speak like their hearing peers.
Neither charity charges deaf children or their families for their services.
Wear your loudest shirt and give / donate what you can to help support this worthy cause on September 29, 2017.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
