Volunteer work at Mini Ha Ha Horse Haven
We run a Horse Haven ( fb Mini Ha Ha Horse Haven )based in Fernside for mostly rescue Laminitcs minis that we have healed and now live pain free but our numbers have grown and with 23 under our care we would so appreciate help with general chores with the Horses and walks to the River 15 minutes down the road.......Our volunteers need to be experienced with horses even though our guys are tiny they are big in personality ........you need to be kind and caring and have soft energy as that is the environment our Haven Horses live in.
If you can spare an hour or so once a week or every now and then we would love to hear form you....our days of need are Monday to Friday.
On a very polite note from past experience while we love children helping with their mums the children must be able to handle a horse as this is volunteer work and we cant have children put at risk. Ph Jen 0272326825 or message below or visit our FB page Mini Ha Ha Horse Haven

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
