School holiday fun at Silverdale Centre!

Come and join the fun these school holidays at Silverdale Centre. We've got cuddly animals, face painting, a balloonist, our Bug Ride and more. Free fun for everyone!

Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th: Pet Safari - All our favourite cuddly animals ready to meet you!
Session times: 11am - 12pm, 12.15 - 1.15pm and 1.30 - 2.30pm

Friday 6th from 11am - 2pm: Rainbow Rascals Fabulous Face Painting PLUS Balloonist

Wednesday 11th until Friday 13th: Bug Ride - Our super popular, fun ride will be taking tours
10.30am - 2.30pm PLUS Face Painting from 11am - 2pm

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
