St John Ambulance fundraising indoor bowling tournament
On Saturday 16th September we are running our annual fundraising tournament for St Johns. Entries are now open. Teams to be of 4 with a maximum of 2 competition playing players per team. Entries fees $20 per team. Each team to provide a raffle prize and a plate for supper. This is a fun evening suitable for all of the family. Hall opens at 6:45 pm and play commences @ 7:30 pm.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
