How can Literacy Waitakere help you?

Literacy Waitakere

We work with adults (16+ who are not in full-time learning) who are New Zealand citizens or residents and who need help with literacy and numeracy. Our service is provided at no direct cost to the learner and covers reading, writing, spelling, grammar, everyday maths, learner licence, workplace learning, communication, study skills and computer skills. Our learner-centered tuition is based on the goals of the individual learner.

“I went to see my WINZ case manager and was asked to fill out some forms. In the past I could never do it myself, but this time I could do it on my own. My case manager made a comment saying he was very pleased.” - Student at Literacy Waitakere
