Electric Vehicle Display and Test Drives
International Electric Vehicle week begins in Timaru! Come along to the Farmers' Market on 9 September (from 9am until 12pm) and chat to local owners and local dealers about how the ever-increasing range of Electric Vehicles can support your lifestyle or your business. Whether your motivation is environmental, public health or economic, operating EVs in New Zealand makes real sense. This event is supported by funding from the EECA (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority) and Timaru EV dealers.
The display will be followed by Test Drives at Caroline Bay from 1:30pm until 3:30pm. Hearing about EVs is one thing, but putting your foot on the accelerator of any electric vehicle is an experience you'll never forget.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
