Opportunity for Young People

The team from Carabiner Mentoring

Carabiner Mentoring is an unique programme for young people with disabilities who demonstrate motivation and determination to achieve a specific goal. Carabiner makes a connection between these young people and an "expert" or leader in their field of interest. Young people have the opportunity to connect with someone who has "been there and done that", while mentors have the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and experiences, and see young people achieve their goals and aspirations.

If you, or know of a young person who:

Are aged between 18-25
Have a disability
Have a specific aspirational goal
Are driven and motivated to achieve

Please get in touch with us through private message or email kerri@carabiner.org.nz

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
