Public discussion: climate change and new conservation technologies
This Saturday 15 July at 3.00pm, Arts in Oxford (72 Main St) is hosting a discussion panel on the state of our rivers and the endangered birds that inhabit them. The focus will *not* be on known issues such as dairy farming and water quality. Rather, it will be on two emerging issues: climate change and new conservation technologies. The event is free and open to the public.
Stollen Rooftop camper
Our lovely Dutch guests had a rooftop camper stolen off the top of their vehicle last night (Friday).
The car was parked on the corner of South Eyre/Browns Road with a for sale sign on. The awful person/people must have had tools available to unscrew and it was heavy.
Please contact me if you saw anything.
