We're so excited to see our building teams' concept designs revealed on page 24 of today's Star! We think each team has presented a modern take on the traditional Kiwi playhouse, and we're really looking forward to seeing them up close and personal at the Star Home and Leisure Show, 30 June-2 July.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
