Melbourne cubby houses raise $92,500 for Australian charity Kids Under Cover

Charlotte Evers from Playhouse Challenge

Ali of the TPA team was thrilled to be invited to Melbourne last week to Kids Under Cover's Cubby House Challenge auction. It was a lovely setting in the gardens and the auction was a fast and furious affair.

The winning cubby (playhouse) GLOWB by Playce and Agency of Sculpture fetched an amazing $26,000! Bidders broke all auction records, with a massive $92,500 raised.

A big thank you to Kids Under Cover for their wonderful hospitality and ongoing support of our first Playhouse Challenge at the upcoming Star Home and Leisure Show. Watch out for the TPA/Birthright Playhouse Challenge designs (soon to be released) They too are amazing!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
