You Might Be Surprised - helping to break stereotypes
Are you 65+, live in the Auckland Council's Franklin Local Board area, and have a story to tell? I am doing a life story/photography project in conjunction with some local photographers. The project is designed to break down stereotypes of what it means to be an older person. The stories are short (200 words max) and will be about an aspect of your life (at any stage) that might surprise someone who does not know you well, especially a younger audience. The photos/stories will be shared on social media and through a public exhibition. Participation is voluntary. For more info go to www.facebook.com... If you'd like to be involved or know more, the contact email address is on the About tab of the Facebook page or PM me through Neighbourly..
