Toastmasters Competition Night
Hello to all
Toastmasters Competition Night is on Thursday 16th at the Senior Citizens Club, Morero Terrice at 7.15 for a 7.30pm start. Come along and support the speakers in the International Speech Contest. The New Zealand winner of this competition goes through to the World competition. It would be great if that could be someone from Taumarunui. Supper is provided. Look forward to seeing you there

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
