Car Boot Sale
Kia Ora we are holding a car boot sale this Saturday 17th December 10 - 12 noon at the Women's Community Centre carpark at no. 14 Butler Street. Bring clothes, bedding, kitchen and home ware and sell to your neighbours. Proceeds go to South Canterbury Women's Wellness who operate a drop-in centre for women. Our opening hours are Mon-Thurs 10-4 pm where you can sit and have a cup of tea and find out about health services in Timaru. We offer free pregnancy testing. Come and support us this Saturday. $10 entry for cars. See you there.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
