New to the Area
Good afternoon everyone!!
I moved here from Port Chalmers in March so have spent some time here in Wakari but not a lot! It has been pleasant so far other than the few who like doing burnouts etc outside our house. I was a neighbourly lead in Port Chalmers and have been lucky enough to become one for the Wakari area. I look forward to meeting some new people in the area!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
