She Loves Golf with YWCA Auckland

Debbie Leaver from YWCA Auckland

If you have never tried golf, this event is your chance to 'give it a go' in a fun and supportive environment. If you already 'love golf' you will enjoy getting advice and support from the professionals and have the unique opportunity of watching the Anita Boon Pro Am participants warming up.
The morning will begin with a bit of mixing and mingling with a few of the She Loves Golf Ambassadors and then we will move to the driving range, putting green and practice areas to get some tips from the Pros. In golfing tradition, we will finish our golfing experience in the 19th hole (the club-rooms) enjoying some delicious food and beverages.

All equipment is provided so all you need to do is turn up in your trainers and have some fun.

All funds raised go to YWCA Auckland.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
